Frequently asked questions
When will Jio Platforms IPO allotment status come out?
The Red Herring Prospectus puts the basis of allotment on or about Monday, 26 October 2026. Status usually appears on the KFin Technologies, BSE and NSE pages after the registrar finalises it, so you may need to check later in the day or the next morning.
Where can I check Jio Platforms IPO allotment status?

My money is still blocked. What should I do?
The RHP puts unblocking of funds on or about 27 October 2026. If the amount is still blocked after that, contact your bank first, then the registrar, KFin Technologies. SEBI rules require compensation from the responsible intermediary for delays beyond the set period.
How is retail allotment decided when an IPO is oversubscribed?
Under the SEBI ICDR Regulations, 2018, each retail individual investor is allotted at least the minimum bid lot, subject to availability, and any remaining shares are allotted proportionately. If there are not enough shares for every retail applicant to get one lot, those who receive the minimum bid lot are chosen by lottery. In SEBI’s illustration, bidding for more lots does not improve the odds.
What is the minimum amount needed to apply this week?
At the upper end of each price band, one lot costs ₹14,985 for EAAA India Alternatives, ₹15,000 for BLS Polymers, ₹14,850 for SFC Environmental Technologies and ₹14,742 for M. K. Sons Fine Jewels. These are simple lot size times price calculations.
